Antique Seth Thomas Double Dial Calendar Clock 8-day, time/strike, key-wind. It’s in working condition. Strikes and counts the hour. The Andrews patent calendar is in good working order as well, advancing day to day, date to date and month to month. Calendar paper is in good condition – not sure if original, new or restored. Seth Thomas “Parlor Calendar #5″ model with double 8 dials. The walnut veneered case is clean with a few small dents (see photos) and measures 20″ x 12 1/2″ at base x 5 1/4 at the base. The original backboard indicates date of manufacture as April 1884. The movement is stamped with the maker’s name; date of last service is unknown but it is clear it could use a cleaning- the time side works well – the calendar advances daily as it should – the strike side runs if pressure placed on a lower wheel.
