The attribution is due to in formation on page 781 of Tran Duy Ly’s, Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Third Edition, Volume 2. The face has scratching around the winding stem.

Despite not having a key and being untested, this clock would make a unique and historically significant addition to any collection of maritime antiques. Small hand tip is broken off. Hands do move freely but untested other than that.

Seth Thomas Mark I – Deck Clock Black US Navy Bakelite Exterior U. Pretty vintage and old. I have no idea how to get it to work. Looks to be bakelite, but not sure. Looks to be in great condition. Some marks here and there and many scratches on the front glass. Rust marks on the chains and metal. I was told it was it was from the USS Wyoming. No way to confirm that.
