The clock has some scratches on its face that can be seen in the pictures. It has a great patina and has not been cleaned. I was able to get this clock running and it has ran nonstop for the past 24 hours. Not sure how well it holds time. The bell tries to work, and makes a noise perhaps it needs some cleaning and love, not sure. Comes with the key.

Helmsman Brass & Wood Base: E537-007. Brass 24HR Clock with Chime: 1004-001. I dont have the key so I cant test the clock, the Barometer has moved in the past days so I think that is working. The Barometer was a little loose on the base, there are only 2 screws that hold it and the clock to the base. I also found 3 of the 4 screws were short ones, so I would recommend replacing them with a longer one, see last pic. I wiped down the brass lightly with a cloth, mostly to remove the dust. It is in good/okay vintage condition with normal wear from use. It does have some finish wear and discoloration/tarnishing from age. There is also a ding/bend (see pic) on the outer ring. It is marked SETH THOMAS and GERMAN MOVT inside. Also marked on back CORSAIR E537-000 and SETH THOMAS, DIV. OF GENERAL TIME CORP. Comes with original key and original SETH THOMAS wood clock stand (can still see part of the sticker). Stand has some scuffs, wear, etc. This clock weighs almost 4 lbs with stand. Great find from estate of Yachtsman and nautical enthusiast. Vintage Seth Thomas Corsair Clock and Barometer Set. Original lacquer and patina. Never scrubbed or polished. No signs of damage, repair or abuse. Clock has German movement. It works well and sounds wonderful. Not tinney or harsh. Barometer works great too! I’ve enjoyed having them but it’s time to pass them along. Hope you get them!

This is a Seth Thomas Corsair clock and barometer. From a resent local estate. Barometer appears to be in good working order. Both measure 5 1/4 across.
