It is still very accurate at keeping time and has chimes that play on the half hour and hour. There are 3 different wind up spots; time, chime, and fine tuning the pendulum. Beautiful rosewood case with minor nicks, chips and scratches (see pics), original reverse glass, original top glass, both iron weights, pendulum and 30 hour oiled works, with alarm mechanism. Newer looking face over zinc plate, no key included. About 25 tall by 15 wide and 4 deep. Counts the hour on a wire gong (removed for tuning in the pic). I don’t know anything about this. It runs, it chimes, it gongs and keeps time. It says 1880 on the label (See photo) The key is not original, trust me, I bought it at Walmart.
