This model features a signed Seth Thomas #124 mechanical, keywind, Westminster Chime, pendulum movement that has been serviced and is in good running condition, keeping time and chiming properly. Seth Thomas Clock Company, a renowned American clockmaker. Produced around the 1880s to early 1900s. The “Adamantine” finish is a durable, early plastic veneer (celluloid) applied over a wood case to mimic the look of materials like marble or mahogany. Typically an eight-day, mechanical movement that strikes the hours on a gong and the half-hours on a bell. Features a decorative, ornate brass or painted celluloid dial with black Arabic numerals.

Vintage Seth Thomas mantel clock with classic wood case and mechanical wind-up movement. Clock does run and strike, however it does NOT keep accurate time and will require adjustment or servicing for proper timekeeping. This is an authentic early 20th-century American clock with original character and patina. The dial shows visible age-related wear and cracking, consistent with its age. Case is solid and displays beautifully. No guarantees on time accuracy.
