This movement includes the hands, pendulum, and key. It has been timed correctly to match the pendulum supplied. This is an older antique Ansonia #5 1/2 clock movement for a wooden or cast iron clock with pendulum, hands, and key. This came from a clock circa 1890. The distance between the winding arbors is 3 1/8 and has No speed adjustment on the dial. Newer movements made after 1890 had a 2 ¾ distance between winding arbors. The movement shows very little wear and runs for almost two days. Hour is struck on a bell. There is no half hour strike. The movement has been oiled properly. As you can see in the photo from the Seth Thomas clock book it is from 1888. And is 6 inches tall.

I have a Lovely Vintage Seth Thomas. Bee Hive Style Mantle Clock with Porcelain/Enamel Large Dial. The Clock strikes a high quality gong once on the half hour. And the appropriate number of times at the top of each hour. I have oiled all the pivots of the barrel spring movement and it’s running great. I then cleaned and polished the beautiful solid mahogany case. 10.5″ Tall by 8.25 Wide and 6″ Deep.
