3 Clock – 3-3/4 Dial – Brass Case 1922 Model A very fine and all orginal Seth Thomas No. 3 Clock is in good running condition and a very clean silvered dial. The clock is fitted with the Seth Thomas 7-jewel 8 day “Highest Grade Metal Levers” movement with scrolled work escapement. Clock movement is very nice shape for it’s age. Seth Thomas Ship’s Clock Chronometer Lever High End Movement Circa 1909

The clock is in very fine condition and complete it is in running and keeping very good time. Fitted with a Seth Thomas double spring, detached eleven jeweled escapement, compensating balance wheel, Breguet hairspring, cut steel pinions, and heavy milled solid brass plates. These movements were Seth Thomas’ very high end performers and where also used in their railroad clocks. The dial is engraved and silvered and is very clean. The clock movement is all housed in a solid heavy cast brass case with hinged plate glass bezel and keyed door lock. No Serial Number. Dial – signed Seth Thomas – Dial is paper – dial does have some discoloration. Black Arabic numbers – single sunk, wonderful heavy black steel hands. Solid Brass case with porthole beveled glass crystal – Front measures 6″ diameter 4″ deep – back measures 8. Movement -appears to be working when wound and chime/striker is working – not tested and can not vouch for accuracy, reliability, missing broken, or scratched parts and pieces.
