Antique Art Nouveau Seth Thomas Mantel Clock Bronzed Gilt Figural Fairy Cherub
Offering this rare and beautiful Art Nouveau mantel clock by Seth Thomas. It features a lithe fairy figure on one side of the clock’s pillar and a cherub on the other side. The fairy has a realistic face and body and moth-like wings, and the cherub is a typical Cupid-style figure with a mandolin. There are Art Nouveau motifs throughout, from the sinuous feet to the pebbled texture of the pillar to the windblown ribbon to the scrolls and roses on top.
