Used on US Navy ships during and after World War 2. This clock is in very good condition and running strong keeping excellent time. There are a few scratches on the case and crystal. The dial is dated 1943 and the movement is dated January 1944. The metal shock mount is missing, but the hinged back plate is in very good condition. The clock measures 8 3/8″ at the widest point across the back, the dial is 5 1/2″ dial, and the case is 4 deep. Please look at the pictures, they provide the best description. This clock is for parts or repair only. The clock does run. I wound the clock up and the clock runs for a couple of hours then stops. I do not know what is wrong with the clock. The movement might just need to be cleaned. The calendar part of the clock does work correctly. The clock is in Good cosmetic condition. The clock has a wood case. I do not see any cracks, breaks or repairs in the case of the clock. The case does show the normal signs of use with minor surface scratches and scuffs (please see pictures).
