This is a Seth Thomas 6 diameter Navy Marine deck clock in the original Bakelite case. Clock displays white Arabic numeral 12 hour markers inside the chapter ring plus separate seconds dial. The clock is signed below center arbor and centered below an “N” inside of a circle (Naval Observatory cartouche) with Observatory number 36014, 1942. Outside the chapter ring below the 6 is marked Made By Seth Thomas In US. Clocks steel hands appear to be in original condition and with original white painted finish. This is a Seth Thomas Pendulum “School Room” Oak Clock. The Oak wood on this clock is as nice as it gets. No marks no scratches or dents. Clock glass is perfect and opens and closes easy with sturdy hinges. Dial is in OK condition and would look better with a little cleaning I did not want to try. Winds and runs good.
