It has the original pendulum and comes with a key. The bezel is an original but looks like it was repainted. Seth Thomas Santa Fe Clock. A rare clock from the city series with a very ornate case. The back is stamped 5881J which I believe means it was made in October of 1885. Has a paper label inside that is partial intact. 22 tall, 13 wide, 5 deep. I wind it and it kept accurate time for several days. The top portion of the decorative carving was broken off at some point in this clocks life and was glued back in place. The front glass does not appear to be original. This is a very nice 1908 Seth Thomas Long-alarm clock mounted in a beautiful, rare brass case. I have had this clock for years and have never seen one in a case like this one! The clock has been serviced and runs and operates perfectly. The movement shows little or no visible wear. It runs for 8-days on a wind. These clocks do not chime the hour, but have a very long lasting, loud alarm that rings on a bell and will go for about 45 minutes unless you shut it off. Wonderful antique Seth Thomas wall clock, in simple yet elegant solid oak case. Large size, measures 19 x 23″ overall, with a 12″ diameter face. This clock has been converted to run on a battery, so no more daily winding! We have had it hung and running for days, keeps perfect time.
