This is a celluloid finish that in the catalogs is described this way; “the finish is very durable and cannot be scratched or dented by any ordinary usage”. The clock is somewhat rare, I cannot find the clock in any of my books. I believe that the model is Bison, based on examining the name written on the bottom of the clock under a black light. There various scuff marks and damage throughout, as pictured. The label on the back is ripped and I do not have the piece that was ripped off. There’s some damage on the underside of the clock next to one of the legs. There’s also various damage to the wood throughout, as shown in various photos.
