THIS IS A REALLY NICE EXAMPLE OF THE SETH THOMAS CHIME CLOCK NO. 14 SONORA 5 BELL MAHOGANY BEEHIVE CLOCK. THE CLOCK RUNS AND STRIKES PROPERLY AND WE WILL HAVE A LINK TO A VIDEO SO YOU CAN WATCH IT RUN THROUGH THE WESTMINSTER BELL TUNES. THE CLOCK IS DIFFICULT TO BALANCE AND IT ONLY HAS ONE “SWEET SPOT”. IT TOOK US APPROX. 20 MINUTES TO GET THE CLOCK IN BALANCE AND IT NEEDED TO BE REBALANCED WHEN WE MOVED IT FROM THE MANTEL TO A TABLE. Up for sale is this antique Seth Thomas Chime #95 Mantle Clock. This is a parts or repair project. The movement has consistently run for 4-5 minutes before stopping (I tried six or seven times at least). It did Chime as it passed the quarter hours, but the rods are a bit bent so it sounded a little muted and awkward. A key will be included. The finish is quite shiny, there is a rough spot right near the start of the curve on the right side, and the footing in that side is a bit chewed up both shown in photos.
