Great find from estate of Yachtsman and nautical enthusiast. Vintage Seth Thomas Corsair Clock and Barometer Set. Original lacquer and patina. Never scrubbed or polished. No signs of damage, repair or abuse. Clock has German movement. It works well and sounds wonderful. Not tinney or harsh. Barometer works great too! I’ve enjoyed having them but it’s time to pass them along. Hope you get them!

This is a Seth Thomas Corsair clock and barometer. From a resent local estate. Barometer appears to be in good working order. Both measure 5 1/4 across. Helmsman Brass & Wood Base: E537-007. Brass 24HR Clock with Chime: 1004-001. I dont have the key so I cant test the clock, the Barometer has moved in the past days so I think that is working. The Barometer was a little loose on the base, there are only 2 screws that hold it and the clock to the base. I also found 3 of the 4 screws were short ones, so I would recommend replacing them with a longer one, see last pic. I wiped down the brass lightly with a cloth, mostly to remove the dust.
