Vintage Seth Thomas Sangamo clock, bango style antique wall clock made in the 1930s. The clock runs great although it seems to not work when you plug it in, you have to manually start the clock with the lever to the right of #3, a couple flicks upward on the lever will start the clock, very cool! Beautiful condition, the glass is reverse painted and the white paint on the inside is chipped and cracked giving this clock a very unique look. The time difference is barely noticeable. You can use it without any problems by turning the mainspring, but please be aware that there may be some time differences. This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made. It is 32″ tall, 16″ wide and almost 6 thick. The face is 12 in diameter and has a bit of ware on the bottom numbers from the hands, which are loose, that may have been rubbing. This […]
