In Thomaston, Connecticut, USA during the earlier 1900’s. It features a quality Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and is in good running order, keeping time and gonging properly. Antique Ansonia pillar and scroll mantle mechanical (wind-up) clock from the 920’s. After winging it up, the clock appears to work for a while, then tIcking starts to slow down, eventually stopping. Going off what I can find from on line research I believe this Seth Thomas 8 day mantle clock is from the 20’s and a Sentinel model – open to corrections if I’m mistaken.
