Rare antique 1850’S Seth Thomas 5 bells chime tall case grandfather clock. The 5 bells movement with marked chimes on the quarter hour and strikes on the hours. High 82″, width 19″, depth 11. The top door of cherry case is a small repaired (#18,19), otherwise is in good condition with age wear. See all photos for details. The cherry case, pendulum and weights are unoriginal parts. Antique Seth Thomas Beehive Wood Mantel Clock with Key & Pendulum WORKS. The glass face cover is missing. Some scratches on wooden case, damage/repair at the 12 o’clock position on the porcelain face (photo 14). Clock works, keeps time and chimes at the 12 & 6 o’clock positions. The mechanism is marked ST 48R (photo 11). Key & Pendulum included. Clock measures 11 1/2″ tall x 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2. Weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces (prior to packaging).
