It’s been keeping pretty good time for a few hours but the chimes are very reluctant to engage without some help; it sounds like they will strike on the quarter hour but I can’t fully guarantee that. I once got it where it hit all four chimes simultaneously and it really sounded great. But obviously it needs work to get back to correct operation. The dial has various scratches as pictured, the wood case is very clean with a few dings, light scratches, and such, and a couple dark spots to one side (see closeup picture).
