I don’t know how accurate it keeps time and I also do not know if its supposed to have a bell. I have not heard a bell in the time I have had it. It does not come with the winding key. Large old brass clock from Allis-Chalmers Milwaukee Works. It was made by the American Steam Gauge & Valve Company and has a Seth Thomas movement. The face is about 10 inches diameter and the bezel is 12 3/8 inches. It is in working order with some issues. The movement is a vintage replacement. The glass is also replaced. It has tarnish and wear and the back rim has a bend at the top mounting hole. The keys both work, but are replacements. The door often does not lock when it is shut. Up for sale is a Rare Antique Seth Thomas Automatic 8 Day Long Alarm Clock. This one is the Grand model. The clock features brushed copper casing, an ornately footed base, and an alarm movement. A note inside indicated that it was last serviced in October of 2016. When tested, both springs wound and the clock ran. However, any insight on how to test the alarm?
