For sale, uncommon Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Clock No. This is a lot of clock in a small package, it is 9.75”h x 10.75”w x 7”d. The movement and case are extremely clean. It chimes on the quarters in a progressive Westminster tune and strikes the hour on all 4 bells. The dial is in great shape. The original finish on the case has been overcoated and could use an evening out in a few areas. Overall it shows very well and is in great condition. Original Seth Thomas long drop regulator clock. In very nice shape. All original as far as I can tell. It is currently not running but if I swing pendulum it does keep time for a minute or two with second hand and minute hands both moving as should. This is fresh from a multi generational New England estate where it spent its life with the same family. Ill do my best to answer any questions. This movement is an original Seth Thomas model 77A. It retains its original pulley. Also the cast iron frame is original also. The suspension block is still present and in good order also. Movement has the 77A Stamp along with the ST Logo also. The brass cable has been just replaced along with an ultrasonic cleaning as well. I have the original wood screws that go into the frame. The depth of the movement is 4 1/4 inches from the back of the frame to the hand shaft tip. The distance center to center seconds bit to the hand shaft is 1 7/8 inches. This listing is for a Seth Thomas antique mantle/cottage/shelf clock. This clock features 2 pillars, a mirrored door, and a lower glass portal window. The clock has its original inner label. It comes with key and pendulum. The clock was last serviced in 2015 and it ran/chimed when tested. Appears to have had veneer work at some point in its life as well. This clock is tested and working. Not sure of the creation year but the service tags say it was regulated and oiled in 55 whether thats 1955 or 1855 im not sure. The other service card says it was serviced in 1967 as well. The back is nailed on and i cant retrieve any further information without fear of damaging it. This does not come with a crank.
