The case retains its original old finish. Both top & bottom glass are original. The tablet has no flaking or inpainting. Original putty on both glasses. This is an excellent example of a Brass 8 day Seth Thomas Gingerbread style mantle clock. All original stickers intact and nice. Original Stencil on the glass in good condition. A few finish imperfections, and a splinter missing that is not noticeable without serious inspection, but 10 times better then most. It appears to have had a coat of varnish added, or maybe original. I got good pics of wear and the missing tiny splinter, which again is very hard to spot as its only an edge corner, heck it could have happened taking it out of the box new.
