6 Seth Thomas alarm clock?

Speaking of the alarm – it’s NOT working. I believe it’s striped now so I stopped as soon as it started to slip and didn’t do any other testing. This is a Rare Antique 1909 SETH THOMAS’Long Alarm’ Victorian Wind-Up Alarm Clock.

Rare Antique Seth Thomas 6 Full Column 8 Day Alarm Mantle Clock Watch 295H. Will need servicing, everything winds up properly, it will run for awhile and then stop, alarm clock works. I have no idea how these things work so I very well could be doing something wrong to get it to stay running but don’t want to break anything so will leave it up to the professionals. I have done a lot of research and couldn’t find one of these with a alarm function. I recently talked with a clock repair guy, he assured me all it needs is a cleaning of the gears and such.

The clock has a beautiful antique design and is in good working condition. Its country of origin is the United States and it has a classic desk clock style. This clock is a collectible item and is perfect for those who love antique pieces.

Both wind up keys are working well. Glass is clear and intact. Face is not yellowing. Back is brass color and looks clean. All hands are intact and in good working condition. Color overall seems to fade from brass at the top to silver on the base.
