Here is a most beautiful Seth Thomas Alto model from 1921 that has been fully restored inside and out and is in excellent working and cosmetic condition! The original Seth Thomas #89AD movement has been completely disassembled and all parts cleaned ultrasonically. All of the wheels and their pivots were polished on the Lathe and 5 new brass bushings were installed. The time side mainspring has been replaced and both mainsprings that power the clock were properly cleaned and greased. Very nice antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. I cleaned and polished the case and test ran the clock before listing. I have been collecting clocks most of my life and look to pass these off to a good home. Nice black adamantine finish, high polished finish. Eight-day time and strike with Cathedral gong. Comes with key and bob. Clock measures 16 x 7 x 11. All antiques will have normal wear due to age but maintain a very beautiful time piece.
