This interesting Victorian mantel clock was made in 1905 by Seth Thomas. Its been in our hallway for over 50 years; it worked when we first inherited it, but stopped working many years ago. Most likely, it needs to be cleaned and adjusted. Includes key (not pictured) and pendulum. I believe it is an eight-day time and strike, counting the hours and the half-hour. The clock is completely original, although I’m not sure if the key is original. Measures 18 x 11 x 6 and weighs approximately 11 lbs. Adamantine Mantle Clock with Key. This listing is for a Seth Thomas Adamantine #102 Mantle Clock. It has a black wooden casing, faux marble accents and lion heads on the side. The face is a gold tone with black numbers and hands. The clock has 2 front claw feet. It is marked No. 102 on the Direction label on the back of the clock and ST in the diamond on the back cover and the inside on the movement piece. This is a wonderful and very stunning Seth Thomas adamantine clock. This clock runs well and chimes loudly and with great resonance. This clock is in good condition with good glass and a solid face. There is a burn mark on the top and the back protrudes slightly further than it should but this is an older clock and these sorts of things are to be expected. This is a stunning clock with a large presence measuring in at 17.5 x 12 x 7.5. This clock has wonderful celluloid columns, one of which is a bit loose but just needs to be tightened.
