Comes with keys will most likely need repaired clock does chime on the hour when u turn the hands but the weight inside slows down and eventually stops could need repaired or off balance not sure….

IT IS VERY DURABLE AND CLOCKS WITH THIS FINISH USUALLY LOOK AS GOOD AS THE DAY THEY WERE MADE ABOUT 100 YEARS AGO. IT HAS A GREAT LABEL ON THE BACK. IT WAS SERVICED AND AT LEAST ONE BUSHING PLACED. IT IS RUNNING AND STRIKING WELL. AS THE STORY GOES, ONLY SETH THOMAS KNEW THE FORMULA FOR THE ADAMANTINE FINISH. SO, HE INVENTED PLASTIC MANY YEARS PRIOR TO IT’S INTRODUCTION. I SEE A LOT OF NON SETH THOMAS CLOCKS ADVERTISED AS ADAMANTINE AND THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND NOT TRUE.

Antique 1890s Seth Thomas Wooden Celluloid Adamantine Wood Grain Mantel Clock. The tag on the back is worn, and their our notes written on back of clock panel. Wood is in good condition and is a beautiful color. The chime for 1/2 hour worked when I bought it. But when i got it home it quit working. I started it again and I could hear the mechanism move but no sound. The hourly chime is loud and works well. There is no wind key for this clock. Base side to side 14. Top side to side 12 3/4. Top front to back 5 1/2. Base front to back 5 3/4.

Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine clock dial and bezel. All original, including glass. No dings or scratches to bezel. Paper Roman numeral dial. No stains or wear to numbers. The back side has the original zinc backing. Outside bezel measurement is 5 – 7/8 in diameter. Backside measures 5 – 3/4. Please refer to pictures. For parts or restoration.
