A Seth Thomas Model 102 from the 1880s in a stunning faux burl wood adamantine finish with a deep, rich luster. The finish came to us in good condition and we have used our neutral cleaner and applied a coat of hard wax and done minor cleaning to the copper accents. The movement is of the period but does not appear to be the original movement housed in the case (based on mounting holes inside the case). This is an antique Seth Thomas 1890s Pillar Mantel Clock. It features a classic Adamantine pillar design with double columns and lion’s heads on either side of the dial and ornate Victorian-style metal feet. It is in good condition as shown. You are looking at a very nice and hard to find Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock. This clock is in excellent clean condition, with normal use and age wear. The wind coils, the bells, and the crank seem to work, but the pendulum doesn’t keep it’s movement, so this clock will need some kind of adjustment, or repair, and the back panel is missing.
