Seth Thomas #40’Empire’ Crystal Regulator

This is a lovely small crystal regulator with an extended 15 day movement. It strikes hours and half hours on a cathedral gong. The movement has all cut steel pinions with heavy plates and is marked with the name of its designer, R. Kaiser, an engineer at Seth Thomas and is unique and highly collectable. The case retains its original gold plating in very good condition and the glass panels are intact. The clock measures 8 1/2 H x 5 1/4 W x 4 1/2 D, with a 3 inch porcelain dial.
