Antique Seth Thomas Lynton-1E Tambour. Electric Striking Mantle Clock. Is keeping time and will strike/chime on the hour and half hour. The case is mahogany with an inlay strip in front. The wood case is clean and in nice condition. A few scrapes here and there as to be expected, but no cracks that I can see. According to the stamp on the bottom (5108), this clock was made in August 1951. The interior mechanism has a stamp of 5106 which translates to June 1951. These are usually GE etc. How often do you see a Seth Thomas school house clock in chrome? Condition: (please read) No cracks or chips in glass. No dings in metal. All three hands are there and not loose. The hands can be adjusted using the bottom adjuster. The hook on the back for hanging is still nice and strong. For your consideration we have a rare 1950’s Seth Thomas 17j auto-wind men’s wristwatch in yellow gold filled/stainless back square case with fancy lugs. Case measures 36.5mm by 25.5mm (excluding crown) and is in very good condition. Silver brushed dial with applied gold markers is all original and in good condition. Watch was just serviced and fitted with a new old stock acrylic crystal. Watch winds/sets perfectly and keeps accurate time.
