This German Leaf & Loon Cuckoo Clock by Seth Thomas is a beautiful vintage piece from the mid-20th century. It was working well when it was removed from the wall. There is some dust evident inside the case but I did not touch the gears which do not appear rusty. I cleaned the exterior only by wipe with natural wood oil. Vintage 1950’s SETH THOMAS school house clock. Large at 15 total diameter. CHROME METAL BODY with HIGH DOME glass front. Electric Striking Mantle Clock. Is keeping time and will strike/chime on the hour and half hour. I believe the case is mahogany -not sure about wood types. Has an inlay strip in front. The wood case is clean, however it does have paint spackles on it – I believe can easily be cleaned up without any damage to the wood. According to the stamp on the bottom (5103), this clock was made in March 1951. The interior mechanism has a stamp of 5101 which translates to January 1951. 15″ long by 8 1/2″ high by 4 1/2 deep.
