Beautiful antique Seth Thomas crystal pendulum mantel, empire-style clock. The clock came from an old estate that was located on the banks of Lake Monroe in Volusia County, FL. It is brass and beveled glass in great condition and lovely brass patina. From what I understand it is circa early 1900’s. There are numbers written on the bottom that are very difficult to decipher but maybe have some significance to model. The door works and it has the original key. When it’s wound it ticks and chimes. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the early 1900’s. This clock is in a red, wood-grain style Adamantine finish which may have been designed to simulate rosewood. The brass bezel and dial assembly is in nice shape for its age. The paper part of the dial has been replaced but the original brass dial pan remains.
