This is a working clock that keeps accurate time. The clock measures 1 1 tall, 1 4 long and 6deep. The case is in good condition with no noticeable marks. No breaks, cracks or repairs. T he marble inserts displays well. The 4.5 porcelain dial is in very good condition. The 5.5bezel, and beveled glass are also in very good condition. The 8 day brass movement is clean and works correctly. T he strike side runs on a full wind for 6 days. The movement correctly strikes on a gong every half hour and full hour. Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 8 Day Mantle Clock 1890’s Serviced & Running. Here is a nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the 1890’s. It has the tan marble-look Adamantine top and trim against the solid black Adamantine body. All of the original feet and ornaments remain and are in great shape. And, although their finish is worn, it is original.
