Rare antique 1850’S Seth Thomas 5 bells chime tall case grandfather clock. The 5 bells movement with marked chimes on the quarter hour and strikes on the hours. High 82″, width 19″, depth 11. The top door of cherry case is a small repaired (#18,19), otherwise is in good condition with age wear. See all photos for details. The cherry case, pendulum and weights are unoriginal parts. As you can see it wants to run. See tape measure for dimensions. Will need servicing and looks like the crutch was repaired. Case has wear and a few small pieces of veneer missing but not bad at all for its age and is very solid. Label is all but completely gone but I think the style of label puts it around early 1850’s.
