Very heavy VTG gyroscope Seth Thomas signed on base.

Unfortunately this Seth Thomas clock was wound up too much and the brass gear came off and clock face became damaged. Large crack in wood across top. Definitely needs to be repaired but also a neat decor piece. Comes with key and broken gear part. Solid wood with glass face. Made in USA early 1900s. This was among my grandfathers things. It doesn’t work but comes with the key and is in good condition.

Has the original bob and is tested, it runs great without issue. The clock has run for days straight without stopping, runs like a dream and the chime and gong works great! I winded it near fully and the clock ran flawlessly the entire time until needing a new wind. Hard to find in this condition! Glass on the front is in good shape, has the back cover as well, missing the key. Clock runs and works as it should. The half hour bell and hour gong works and sounds great. Hinged wood back door. Pendulum internal to clock. Round glass hinged face cover. Windup key, original manufacturers label. This is for clock No. 4300, 4500 and 4600 series 8-day pendulum. It measures 9 1/2″ tall x 8 1/2″ wide x 5 1/4 thick. Overall, the piece is in good condition reflecting normal wear. Appears to be all original. Manufactured in Thomaston, Connecticut, USA.
