THIS IS A VERY OLD ANTIQUES US MADE SETH THMAS MANTEL CLOCK , ITS CLOCK IS INSTALLED IN A MAHOGANY FRAME WITH CARVED FLOWERS, ALTHOUGH DUE TO THE LONG TIME, THERE ARE SME CHARACHERS ON THE DIAL, BUT THE CLOCK IS STILL WORKING WELL, AN EXPERT TOLD ME. Clock was built in 1891, per the markings on back panel. Seth Thomas dating was done by reverse-printing the year, followed by one letter “character” which denoted the month, e. Offered here is a working Seth Thomas shelf or bracket alarm clock. It runs and chimes and the alarm works. It stands 14 1/2″ tall, 9″ wide and 3 5/8 deep. This is an antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 4 column mantle clock with lion heads this clock is working and has been running for days. It strikes on the half hour and the hour, and is in very good condition the case is solid the glass and bezel are good no damage. There is damage to the green finish on the top of the clock it appears that someone placed something hot on the top and melted a round spot on the top. (see picture) This clock measures 11″ x 17″ x7. Vintage WWII Era Mark I Deck Clock, no key. Originally owned by family member who was in Merchant Marines. Not sure if clock works since key is missing. It has paint marks on edges, as if painting around it on deck, showing the authenticity of the item. The screw mechanism works well. The dial is very clear, with the white background in good shape. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Boston Model City Series Parlor Mantle Clock. Case shows a fair amount of wear, rubs and scratches. I believe two finials are replaced and the third is damaged. The dial pushes in a bit when you insert the key, needs a little solder at the bottom. One of the Geneva springs stops has been removed.
