This is a very Unique styled clock, it was named the Detroit by Seth Thomas and his Staff. It is circa 1880 (+) (-) 3 years. It is 19 1/2″ High with a 6″ dial. As you can see the dial is losing it’s finish, but with proper care by touching as little as possible it will stay intact much longer. This is a Grandfather clock that measures 90″ tall by 19″ wide by 10 deep. The case is made of pine with a dark aged mahogany finish from around the 1800’s. It has a 12 dial marked ST. The movement is from a short drop Seth Thomas hanging clock and is 8-day, time only in good running condition, which is also from the 1840’s. The clock shows well overall.
