Antique Late 1800s Waterbury Cast Iron Mantle Clock working in very good condition. The clock chimes with a bell rather than a gong. The clock has a pendulum but it is not the original. I believe that the key is the original. Not everyone takes such care. All the clocks that I list are tested to be working for days and even weeks but some times the postal carrier is not careful and there are issues caused by the clock being jostled.

Clockwork runs smoothly, keeps exact time. Face shows honest time wear and bakelite case is solid, no chips, cracks, one early repair on top mounting hole. Top area surface is slightly coarse from heat? Has one blemish on top, not directly visible(pics #20,21,22). Difficult to show all details, glare, etc and satisfaction guaranteed or return it. This clock is a cathedral style with Sonora 4 bells chimes. It is a larger clock 11.5×7.5×14. The finish is the patented celluloid in a red tone with graining on 3 sides and top. The finish is still beautiful and over 100 years old. It plays the famous Sonora 4 bell Westminster chimes on the quarter, half, 3/4 and full hour. The clock face is 5″ diameter the silver finish is average, the brass bezel is 5.5″ and the beveled glass is 5.5 in non scratched condition. The clock keeps good time and strong tic toc..
