1880 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock No Key. This does appear to run when wound. The pendulum works as I believe it should. The clock chimes at 30 minutes as opposed to at the top of the hour, which will likely need adjusted. Beautiful MCM Seth Thomas carriage Mantle Clock. From the pinnacle of well made, attractive, functioning, collectable & attainable clocks.. Kieninger & Obergfell made in West Germany. Transistor, 4 glass brass, skeleton dial, with pendulum. Operates with one C (1.5v) battery. 4 height adjustable feet for leveling. This specimen was acquired from the Division of Time corp in Norcross, GA. It has a few light scratches, as well as small dark spots consistent with time and use. Vintage Seth Thomas skeleton clock in very nice condition. This same exact mechanism is used in Kundo clocks. Very high quality German construction. I installed 2 new glass panels on the sides as the originals were damaged. Of course, one developed a small hairline crack when I was installing it–see photo. If this crack grows in the future, your local picture frame store can cut a new glass piece for a few dollars. Very cheap and easy. Overall a beautiful piece. VTG Art Deco SETH THOMAS White Marble Art Deco Clock. The clock is working. There are some small nicks which are not easy to see and a couple of larger chips on the back edge, see last photo.
