Antique Seth Thomas Gingerbread 8 Day Clock From Metals Series with Key. This clock is a bit of a Frankenstein when it comes to the frame. There is a Seth Thomas model #8981 that has a different metal applique design but is almost identical in every other apect. This one’s woodwork has been repaired/replaced. The lower side pieces look to be a different tone of wood than the movement/pendulum housing. The top section with the metal applique is also a different tone and it has been repaired as well. Seth Thomas Westbury Antique Mantle Clock – Clock Works – Chimes Not Working. Made around 1940 I’m guessing. I have added a 5′ cord to plug into a standard electrical outlet. Original cord and plug is missing. Opening glass in front. Front has beautiful decorative inlay. Clock keeps time, but Westminster Chimes are not functional. Approximately 101/2″ tall, 81/2″ wide, 6 deep. Mahogany body has a few minor surface flaws, but is in overall great condition for being around 80 years old. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Columns Lions Adamantine Mantle Clock Vintage With Key. The clock and hourly chime is in good working order.
