This clock is in nice cosmetic condition for its age. The exact year of manufacture is unknown, but based on the movement and the clock design, it would have been from the very early 1900s. The clock has a Seth Thomas 120 series movement, which was one of their best movements. The movement has been disassembled, had several bushings installed, washed, reassembled, and runs for the full 8 days and keeps VERY good time. The clock chimes at the half hour and hour. Beautiful antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. Circa early 20th century, roughly 100 years old. Clock works fine – both spring mechanisms wind perfectly (time – counter clockwise, chime clockwise). Note winding in incorrect direction will disable spring. 8 Day clock winds perfectly. Middle key setting on face adjusts time faster/slower and will require some fine tuning to correct time. I found it was off by about 1-2 minutes per day. Mechanisms seem to be in great working order. Includes pendulum and key. Clock measures 10″ tall x 19″ wide x 5 1/2 deep.
