It runs and strikes at the top of the hour counting off the hours. Has a 8 1/2 inch movement. Case showing average wear for a clock over 100 years old. Dial was replaced with a paper dial. Clock measures 21 1/2 inches tall, 14 1/4 inches wide. It was missing the bezel and glass. I will pack with plenty of insulation to insure safe transit. Has the original bob and is tested, it runs great without issue. The clock has run for days straight without stopping, runs like a dream and the chime and gong works great! I winded it near fully and the clock ran flawlessly the entire time until needing a new wind. Hard to find in this condition! Glass on the front is in good shape, has the back cover as well, missing the key. Clock runs and works as it should. The half hour bell and hour gong works and sounds great. Good condition clock, includes the key, worked last time it was wound 5 years ago. Bell still worked too. Mounted to handsome wood wall mount to hang and display. There is some tarnish that may be able to be cleaned up. I tried to highlight those areas as much as possible.
