An extremely rare antique Seth Thomas wall clock find! I don’t know the exact date, but it’s most likely late 1800s. If there are any experts who can give me a more specific date would be appreciated. This is an original Antique 8 Day USA Seth Thomas Schoolhouse Wall Clock. This is a rare and beautiful antique desk/ mantle clock made in the Art Nouveau style. The clock is made of bronze and features a loving woman with hands corssed over clock. It is a wind-up mechanical clock with an analog display. The figure and clock appear to be all original. The clock winds up, but it does not work. Was overwound at some point. Original WWII Zig Zag Clock. Clock needs to be reserviced – clock only works for a couple for seconds and hands move – so it probably needs to be reoiled. Does not include anything, just the clock. Photos should show everything. Research indicates that Azure clocks were used by submarines during WWII to zig zag and avoid being detected.
