Seth Thomas Clock Company, a renowned American clockmaker. Produced around the 1880s to early 1900s. The “Adamantine” finish is a durable, early plastic veneer (celluloid) applied over a wood case to mimic the look of materials like marble or mahogany. Typically an eight-day, mechanical movement that strikes the hours on a gong and the half-hours on a bell. Features a decorative, ornate brass or painted celluloid dial with black Arabic numerals.

Clock does run and strike, however it does NOT keep accurate time and will require adjustment or servicing for proper timekeeping. This is an authentic early 20th-century American clock with original character and patina. The dial shows visible age-related wear and cracking, consistent with its age.
