Movement – 8 Day – Time & Strike – Marked Seth Thomas – Gong sounds fantastic, a cleaning would do this movement wonders. Dial – Original -Marked Seth Thomas. This is one of my favorite type clocks being a Navy veteran and Seth Thomas(w Ansonia) being one of my favorite clock makers. It is from and very good collection and I have more to list but we will start with this and another striker. Strike works and sounds wonderful those that might not be familiar with Navy watches cycle every 4 hours w 1-8 strikes on every half hour. You are looking at a beautiful Seth Thomas clock. It works, but not sure if it keeps perfect time and the chimes seem to be out of whack. There are some blemishes on the wood that I have pictured. The face does seem to be a little loose. The paper on the inside bottom reads “1913”. PLEASE LLOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 21 PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITION.
