This is an exquisite mantle clock, made by Seth Thomas in the Adamintine celluloid finish. The pattern is faux marble, varigated green, black and beige. This particular clock is considered rare and is highly desirable; please notice the fluted corinthian columns, layered in the same adamintine finish. Beautiful piece with granite accented base. This is really a unique clock. Its a combination of two good makers. Seth Thomas and Sessions. The dial and pendulum bob are Sessions’ and the movement is Seth Thomas. I acquired this piece at an Estate Sale so i don’t know much about it. I’m thinking at one point it was repaired hence the two different makers parts. Probably from the late 1800s to early 1900s. 13 3/4 inches tall , 10 7/8 inches wide , and 7 3/8 inches depth. Original SETH THOMAS # 113A mechanical movement. The finish is good with mild wear. It does come with the pendulum and correct size key. I did get the clock to run all day and it worked well. It chimes every 15 minutes and on the hour.
