This interesting Victorian mantel clock was made in 1905 by Seth Thomas. Its been in our hallway for over 50 years; it worked when we first inherited it, but stopped working many years ago. Most likely, it needs to be cleaned and adjusted. Includes key (not pictured) and pendulum. I believe it is an eight-day time and strike, counting the hours and the half-hour. Adamantine Mantle Clock with Key. This listing is for a Seth Thomas Adamantine #102 Mantle Clock. It has a black wooden casing, faux marble accents and lion heads on the side. The face is a gold tone with black numbers and hands. The clock has 2 front claw feet. It is marked No. 102 on the Direction label on the back of the clock and ST in the diamond on the back cover and the inside on the movement piece. Made by Seth Thomas out of Plymouth Hollow Conn. USA in the early to mid 1800’s. Large 25″ tall, 15 1/4″ wide, and 4 1/8 deep. Looks to be walnut but please see pictures to be sure. Great shape with little signs of age on the front or sides of cabinet. The reverse painted flower scene gives it a great appearance. The face has a great antique look as well.
