An old Seth Thomas calendar clock. The movement has been oiled and is in good running condition. I don’t think the case has been stripped, but it looks like someone clean, revived the finish sometime ago. The dial paint has some cracking, scratches, marks, etc. There is missing paint by the 25 and 30. There is some glazing missing around the inside of the bezel. This is a Seth Thomas 6 diameter Navy Marine deck clock in the original Bakelite case. Clock displays white Arabic numeral 12 hour markers inside the chapter ring plus separate seconds dial. The clock is signed below center arbor and centered below an “N” inside of a circle (Naval Observatory cartouche) with Observatory number 36014, 1942.
