A meticulously restored and highly original c. 1900 Seth Thomas Office No. 5 wall clock in excellent working order. Of all the numerous models of antique Seth Thomas mechanical clocks produced, this model is among the rarest, especially in such a finely restored condition. The original movement with its tell-tale lantern pinions was cleaned and lubricated, and keeps excellent time to within 1 minute per week (guaranteed). Obtained this through family. Unless otherwise stated it is in a used condition which could include minor scratches, dings, bumps and rust. There is a key for this clock! I have looked and haven’t found a clock that is identical to this one! On the back of the clock where the opening is to the clockworks is a personalized engraving that I have no idea who or what it says. It is a faux marble and the columns I think are a plastic.
