Made from a beautiful dark hardwood, likely mahogany, and features a beehive shape with rounded corners. Black roman numerals against a bone-white metal face. Measures approximately 15″ tall x 10 3/4″ wide x 4 deep. Age-appropriate wear, dust and dirt. Some of the paint on the face is chipping. For your consideration, a mantle or kitchen clock from the Metal series by Seth Thomas. 8 day time, strike and alarm movement with sunburst pendulum. Original paper on bottom of inside. All parts appear to be original. I was running it earlier and it appeared to run and keep time however it has never been kept running during my ownership and I cannot guarantee a continued working condition. MEDBURY model made by Seth Thomas. With a great Art Deco design. 9″ tall, 20″ wide, and 7 deep. It is an 8 day clock. Condition: The glass is in great shape with no cracks or chips. The wood cabinet has some light signs of age… Still looks great as seen in pictures. The face looks fantastic and has that ART DECO look about it. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Brass & Copper Ships Clock Style Mantle Clock with a 6 Dial. This model has the 105 Platform Escapement Movement. But it was fully wound and not ticking for the past few years Ive owned, it was not until I moved the hands to hear the strike that it started running, which to me indicates it needs at least a cleaning and servicing.
