As found – for parts or restoration. Dimensions: 33.5 in x 15.5 in x 5.5 in. 1860’s Seth Thomas Clock Co. 1 clock with an 8 day time only movement. The clock has the original unsigned 8 day rectangular movement measuring 4 – 1/4″ tall by 2 – 5/8″ wide. The gears advance when finger pressure is applied. The mahogany veneered case is refinished. At some point the veneer was removed from the wooden bezel. The bezel was stained and refinished to match the rest of the case. Dimensions: 28in x 17.25in x 4.25in. Clock is unrestored and as found. Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn. 30 hour, time and strike weight driven OFF-CENTER pendulum pillar and scroll shelf clock. This clock has a 30-hour strap plate four arbor wood movement. The backplate of the movement is actually part of the backboard. The gears are strong with no chips or missing teeth. The movement makes use of compound pully system. All pullies are original. The mahogany and mahogany veneered case is in very nice condition in an old, possibly original finish. A very cute little brass carriage clock. Marked Seth Thomas on the face. Back of movement says German Manufactured, so I do not know if it is original. Has some wear and plating loss. One side window is a bit loose. Clock ran for the past hour. Does have a few small issues. The alarm does not shut off. The knob for the alarm is stripped, and the knob for the time set does not look to be original. There is no key. Stands about 6″ tall and is about 5 by 4″ at the base.
