Antique Seth Thomas Beehive Wood Mantel Clock with Key & Pendulum WORKS. The glass face cover is missing. Some scratches on wooden case, damage/repair at the 12 o’clock position on the porcelain face (photo 14). Clock works, keeps time and chimes at the 12 & 6 o’clock positions. The mechanism is marked ST 48R (photo 11). Key & Pendulum included. Clock measures 11 1/2″ tall x 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2. Weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces (prior to packaging). This antique Seth Thomas Regulator Wall Clock is a beautiful addition to any room. Crafted from oak and walnut, this clock has a rectangular shape and features a quartz movement powered by a battery. Sound Opening on Bottom. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself. A nice looking patinaed brass lacquer look case on this clock. Would guess the clock dates to just before the WWII period. Has no markings on the back of the case. An uncommon feature with this clock is the sound venting on the bottom of the case.
