1920’s Seth Thomas Mahogany Mantel Clock 89AL Movement, Works/Chimes Perfectly! Pre-owned in excellent condition. All functions work perfectly. No scratches on glass or damage to hinges. Except for very light discoloration the winding slots on dial, the clock is nearly pristine. Original condition; it has not been repaired or refinished. The clock is time-only, and includes the original Seth Thomas mechanical brass movement. The clock is in excellent condition, runs well (see video), and includes a key (the key is not original to the clock). Please note that (per the last photo) there is a minor imperfection (bend) in one side of the lip of the front cover. The clock measures approximately 7 and 5/16 inches across the front bezel, and 2 9/16 inches in depth. This pair is from a yacht that was refurbished. They have been stored in a drawer for over 20 years without the battery. The clock started right up as soon as I put a new AA battery in. I saw a bit of movement in the needle of the barometer when I turned the silver knob, but I can’t guarantee it works. The front of the set is in excellent condition.
